Your domain. Real email.
For you and your agents.
Bring a domain you own. Get unlimited addresses, a fast inbox, and an API, CLI and MCP server so your agents can send, receive and read their mail too.
Works with any domain you already own. No per-seat pricing.
Your domain, set up right
Add a domain you own and get the exact DNS records with copy buttons and live checks. DKIM, SPF (custom MAIL FROM) and DMARC, done properly.
Every address you need
me@, hello@, invoices@, support@: addresses are routes into an inbox, so make as many as you like, plus catch-all and plus-addressing.
Agent-native
Give every agent its own inbox and a key scoped to it. It can send, read, search and wait for verification codes over REST, the CLI or MCP.
An inbox that's fast
Keyboard-first, real threading and Gmail-style search. No office suite bolted on, nothing to slow you down.
Built for production
Signed webhooks with retries, templates, scheduled and batch sends, delivery timelines, open and click tracking, and a suppression list.
Teams without per-seat fees
Invite your team with owner, admin, developer and viewer roles. Every change lands in an audit log. One price, however many people.
Live in three steps

Subscribe
Create an account and start Pro. $20/month, cancel anytime.
- 2
Add your domain
Copy the DNS records into your registrar. We verify them live.

Email as a primitive.
The inbox, the API, the CLI and the MCP server are the same thing. Whatever you can click, your code and your agents can do.
- REST API, plus a Resend-compatible API for existing code
- fm, a CLI for scripts and agents (--json everywhere)
- Remote MCP server for Claude, Cursor and any MCP client
- wait_for_email extracts one-time codes automatically
# install the CLI $ npm i -g futuremail $ fm login # give your agent an inbox $ fm agents create "Signup bot" ✓ signup-bot@yourdomain.com # …it signs up somewhere, then: $ CODE=$(fm wait --from github.com --otp) $ echo $CODE 482913 // or keep your Resend code const resend = new Resend(key, { baseUrl: "https://api.futuremail.dev/resend", })
One plan. Everything included.
No free tier, no ads, no per-seat pricing. You pay for email, so email is the product.

Questions, answered
What is FutureMail?
FutureMail is email hosting for your own domain, built for people and their AI agents. Point your domain at FutureMail and you get unlimited addresses, a fast web inbox, agent inboxes, and a REST API, CLI and MCP server that can do everything the inbox can.
Do I need my own domain?
Yes. FutureMail works with a domain you already own, from any registrar; we don't sell domains. Add it and FutureMail gives you the exact DKIM, MX, MAIL FROM (SPF) and DMARC records with copy buttons and live verification. Receiving works as soon as the MX record resolves.
How much does FutureMail cost? Is there a free plan?
FutureMail is paid-only: Pro is $20/month and includes 50,000 recipients a month, unlimited domains and addresses, agent inboxes, the API and MCP server. There is no free tier or trial. Limits are hard caps, so there are never overage charges and no per-seat pricing. Charged in USD; Stripe may show your local currency and add applicable tax. Need more volume? Email support@futuremail.dev.
Why can I only send to 1,000 recipients a day at first?
New accounts ramp up: for the first 14 days you can send to up to 1,000 recipients a day, then the full monthly allowance applies. Gradual ramp-up protects the sending reputation every customer shares and catches abuse early. Receiving is never limited by the ramp-up.
Can I send newsletters or marketing email?
No. FutureMail is for transactional and person-to-person email: receipts, notifications, sign-in codes, replies, conversations. Bulk, marketing or unsolicited email and purchased lists aren't allowed (see the Acceptable Use Policy). Accounts with bounce rates above 4% or complaint rates above 0.08% are paused automatically.
How do I give an AI agent its own email address?
Create an agent inbox in Settings → Agents, with POST /v1/agents, with `fm agents create`, or with the MCP tool create_agent_inbox. You get a mailbox, an address on your domain and an API key that can only touch that mailbox. The agent can then send, read, search and wait for email over REST or MCP.
Can my agent receive verification codes (OTP) by email?
Yes. GET /v1/emails/wait (or the MCP tool wait_for_email, or `fm wait --otp`) blocks until a matching email arrives, for up to 5 minutes, and returns it with extracted.otp and extracted.links already filled in.
Does FutureMail have an MCP server?
Yes. A remote Streamable HTTP MCP server runs at https://api.futuremail.dev/mcp; authenticate with "Authorization: Bearer <API key>". Tools include list_inbox, search_emails, read_thread, send_email, reply_to_email, wait_for_email, add_domain, create_address and create_agent_inbox.
Is FutureMail compatible with Resend?
Yes. The same API is served in Resend's format under https://api.futuremail.dev/resend. Point the official Resend SDK at that base URL and use a FutureMail API key; emails, batch sends, scheduling, domains and API keys work unchanged.
How do cancellation and refunds work?
Cancel anytime from the billing portal in Settings → Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
What happens to my email after I cancel?
Sending stops when your paid period ends. Incoming mail is still accepted for 7 more days, so nothing bounces while you move your MX records. Your mail and settings stay readable and exportable (in the app, over the API or with the CLI); after 30 days without a plan we may delete them. Resubscribe anytime to pick up where you left off.
How is my email delivered and stored?
Outbound and inbound mail goes through Amazon SES with DKIM signing and an aligned custom MAIL FROM domain; bounces and complaints are suppressed automatically to protect deliverability. Your email is stored until you delete it, never sold, never used for ads and never used to train models.
